PROFARMA began its journey in 1986 and is a well-known program in the pharmaceutical industry. The Profarma 2020 project Look for companies in the pharmaceutical sector that carry out R+D+i activities in Spain. This call also seeks companies that manufacture and distribute medicines for human use. The Profarma 2020 project is regulated by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness and by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality. As we have mentioned before, the purpose of this project is to promote competitiveness in the pharmaceutical industry through the promotion of the sector. Companies that request it must pass several phases with certain conditions to meet, for this purpose it classifies them into 3 groups (group A, group B and group C) and up to 4 categories (excellent, very good, good and acceptable) according to the requirements: research, investment, employment, etc. Currently, the date of the call is suspended due to the alarm period, however, once this period has ended, applications will be open.
