Women's applications to the program account for only 18% of the total, a very obvious minority that shows a great disparity. To encourage women entrepreneurs to join the program, The Founder Institute has created a new initiative, the Female Founder Fellowship, which will offer a scholarship to female entrepreneurs with the greatest potential that covers all the training expenses of the program.Last year, 16% of the Founder Institute's graduates were women and the goal is to double that number by promoting 175 women-led companies every year.
