Since 2015, the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (ICEC) has contributed to the creation and growth of more than 50 companies in the cultural and digital sector.
Objective
Facilitate the activity and provide financial support to entrepreneurial projects in the cultural and digital fields, in the initial stages.
Beneficiaries
Digital cultural companies, with a Maximum age of 4 years on the date of the loan request, with headquarters or operations in Catalonia.
Type of aid
Loans of between 40,000 and 200,000€, with the following characteristics:
- Return period: Between 3 and 5 years, including 2 years of grace period.
- Interest: A fixed or minimum of 2.5% + variable interest. With the maximum total interest rate of 10%, annual interest will be calculated by dividing pre-tax profit (BAI) by the average own funds for the year.
- Amortization: Monthly.
- Opening commission: 1% of the amount granted.
- No guarantees additional.
The amount awarded for each of the beneficiary projects will represent at most triple the company's own funds.
Main requirements
The project must:
- Be co-financed by the company.
- Be viable.
- Have a scalable business model.
- Have a balanced financial structure.
Fundable projects
Business projects for growth or interactive digital services, including: development of game applications and/or platforms for the consumption or distribution of goods and products online.
