The call for the 2023 Research Program for Catalan companies, framed in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, will be open until January 25, 2023.

Type of funding
Grants on a non-competitive basis, of up to 33,108.92 euros per person hired and year of contract.
Beneficiaries
Public research organizations, universities, health centers and institutions, etc., as long as they have demonstrated capacity and activity in R+D+i.
Main requirements
- Have an operational headquarters in Catalonia.- The duration of contracts must be full-time, for a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months. These contracts must end no later than 31/08/2025.-
- The contract must begin after the resolution of the grant and, at least, one month after the completion of the selection procedure carried out by the entity receiving the aid and no later than September 1, 2023.
- Not having been a beneficiary of the 2022 call for the Research Program.
- Research and innovation activities should preferably be developed within fields related to health, ecological transition, the green economy (renewable energy, water and waste treatment and the agri-food industry), as well as the digitalization of services and Data Science.
Eligible actions
This call will only subsidize the hiring of young people for the development and execution of research and innovation functions, tasks and initiatives.
Recipient people
Unemployed young people who are correctly registered as jobseekers between 16 and 30 years old, who have not carried out any type of research activity in the same entity, company or group of companies within the 6 months immediately preceding the start of the contract.
In addition, depending on the profile, the minimum qualifications required are defined as:
- Research Staff: Doctor's degree.
- Technological staff: University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Technical staff for research, development or innovation: Higher education cycle or university degree or equivalent qualification.

- Technical report, including: description of the jobs to be filled, characteristics of the activities to be carried out and the number of contracts planned.
- Forecasts of total program costs
- Relevant statements.

The call will remain open from 12/01/2023 at 9:00 a.m. to 25/01/2023 at 2:00 p.m.
