Endowed with 480 million euros, this call seeks to strengthen the industrial value chain of clean energy technologies in Spain and accelerate both national and European energy and technological autonomy.
Objectives of the Renoval 2 program
Renoval 2 is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and the European initiative RepowerEU, aimed at reducing energy dependence and strengthening local productive capacity.
The main objective of the program is to promote industrial projects that consolidate Spain's position in the renewable energy sector and prevent the relocation of production outside the European Union.
These grants are designed to support companies that contribute tangibly to the energy transition, generate industrial employment and promote a competitive and sustainable national industry.
Beneficiary companies
SMEs and industrial companies of different sizes may participate, provided that they develop investment projects related to the production or improvement of technology related to renewable energy.
Although the program is open to all types of companies, industrial SMEs with well-defined projects and a clear role in the value chain of these technologies will have a real opportunity to obtain funding.

- Wind energy: terrestrial or marine.
- Energy storage systems: batteries, electrochemical or thermal technologies.
