We are more excited to invest in consolidated teams, that have worked together before, that have a global approach from the start, a clearly differentiated value proposition, a prototype already launched and that have been able — thanks to the presence of a good marketer among the founders — to create traction and engagement, even if they are initial.
Obviously, we are also interested that the team has thought and has clear indications that there is a monetization strategy that can be implemented at the optimal time for the company.
We don't have a strong preference for specific sectors of the economy, although in the past we have made several investments in the tourism sector, eCommerce /Marketplaces, or in technologies such as mobile and AR /VR. Although in the past we have been more active in startups oriented to B2C businesses, right now we have a preference for startups that operate B2B businesses, in particular software.
However, in general, we are flexible and evaluate startups based on their own specific merits and not so much on the basis of the technology, approach or sector to which they belong.
