12 startups that are revolutionizing the Cleantech sector

Get to know 12 innovative projects dedicated to clean energy: energy efficiency, circular economy, sustainable mobility...

A few months ago we talked about Cleantech Camp, a program to support ideas and projects in the field of clean energy with the objective of transforming them into business realities, aimed at companies that are in the initial phase. Today, We bring you a selection of 12 innovative projects that are revolutionizing the sector.

The thematic areas on which startups in the cleantech sector are focused are extensive and varied, from biogas and hydrogen and energy efficiency to the circular economy, sustainable mobility and smart cities. These are some of the most revolutionary projects dedicated to the field of clean energy:Starke Energy: works to achieve cleaner, cheaper and more flexible energy systems, through local integration. Starke energy invests in local storage networks to ensure that energy is available whenever it is needed, taking into account the importance of the price factor.FlexiDAO: was founded on a vision shared by all its founders: a transparent, green and producer-focused energy sector. It currently offers companies in the energy sector specialized software, based on data analysis, with which they can achieve their green energy objectives. Alter5: has been established as the institutional market for investments in clean energy. Your investors can access a wide range of sustainable investment opportunities, all of them from the renewable energy sector. Through the operations it carries out, Alter5 is able to accelerate the transformation of the European economy and support the growth of sustainable companies by providing them with the capital they need.Bechained: it is one of the most recent cleantech startups. Bechained offers its customers a renewable energy marketplace that allows balancing and managing the relationship between supply and demand, through the use of artificial intelligence. Through the development and subsequent use of its solution, the company is able to have a positive impact on climate change and smart cities. Solum: it is a smart parking and charging solution for electric micromobility vehicles, such as scooters and bicycles. Its main advantages include the security offered by its stations, through a system of intelligent padlocks, and the ease with which they adapt to the particular needs that each of its customers may have (being able to configure everything from the number of vehicles per station to its colors). Bioo: was born with the mission of improving people's quality of life, through innovative solutions that merge two concepts such as nature and technology. Bioo works around several lines of business, including an educational solution that promotes sustainability through programs that demonstrate how to obtain electricity through energy produced by nature. Magnifier: it is one of the startups in the Spanish cleantech sector that generates the most expectations among the general public. The Lupa team has designed a new electric car, Lupa Motors E26, which will be available on the market starting in 2023. Customers will have the option of deciding whether to purchase the vehicle with the necessary portable batteries or, failing that, choose to rent them. H2SITE : offers high-quality and economically viable in-situ H2 production solutions: maximizing the efficiency of the production process and minimizing the necessary resources. Although the company began 10 years ago, H2SITE has not stopped innovating and it is in these last 12 months that it has most succeeded in boosting its growth. Llewo : is a “socially and environmentally sustainable” logistics operator behind which Enagás and Ilunion are located. The startup offers its last-mile services through comprehensive, innovative and personalized solutions, which allow customers to align themselves with an eco-sustainable mobility model. There is no doubt about the positive impact that, like all startups in the cleantech sector, it achieves on the environment because “1 ton of biomethane avoids the emissions generated by 20 cars a year”.Ampere energy: markets so-called smart batteries with which its customers are able to make more efficient use of energy. The company has developed specific software that, through artificial intelligence and the use of data, such as the weather forecast, the price of energy and the profile of each user, is able to achieve maximum savings and energy independenceWattabit: they are experts in energy management software. Through the W-Manager multi-site platform, Wattabit customers are able to verify in real time the savings generated and simplify the decision-making process.
