On this occasion, the seventh edition of Advanced Factories, which will take place at Fira Barcelona - Gran Vía, will bring together industrial companies as well as technological companies and manufacturing manufacturers with the objective of establishing synergies and promoting technology transfer in the industrial sector.
What is Advanced Factories?
Advanced Factories is an annual Expo and Congress for industrial leaders and SMEs looking for solutions in industrial automation, robotics, new 4.0 technologies and 3D Printing, to improve their industrial competitiveness. Along with the Industry 4.0 Congress, it is the largest European congress on industrial innovation. For three days, more than 20,000 industrial professionals will be able to discover the latest solutions and innovations in industrial automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, etc. through the more than 380 exhibiting firms, who will show more than 20,000 square meters focused on innovation, more than 700 market-leading solutions. During the event, the Industry 4.0 Congress which will address the strategies and steps to follow to face the modernization of the industry and will focus the debate on the use of low-power and zero-defect equipment, solutions such as supply chain visualization, and technological trends such as post-quantum cryptography or the metaverse. Thus, sustainability will once again be one of the central themes of the Industry 4.0 Congress, which will analyze the importance of having low consumption equipment with a lower impact on the environment without neglecting a more efficient production with zero defects. In turn, there will also be space for concepts such as “virtual commissioning” or the use of virtual simulation technology to design, install or test machinery in the virtual environment.
