DIGITALIZA-CV 2026 Grants: grants for digitization projects for SMEs in the Valencian Community

The Institut Valencià de Competitivitat Empresarial (IVACE) has opened the 2026 call for the DIGITALIZA-CV program, a line of grants aimed at small and medium-sized companies in the Valencian Community that want to promote advanced digitalization projects.

These grants aim to promote innovative investment in information, communication and electronic technologies, making it easier for SMEs to move forward with the implementation of industry 4.0, improve the efficiency of their processes, strengthen their integration into the value chain and develop new digital products and services.

Purpose of the aid

The main purpose of the DIGITALIZA-CV program is to support projects that promote digital transformation of SMEs, promoting:

  • The adoption of advanced technologies associated with industry 4.0.

  • Improving competitiveness and operational efficiency.

  • Digital integration in the value chain.

  • The development of new products, services or digital business models.

  • A sustainable digital transformation, with special attention to reducing environmental impact.

IVACE prioritizes those initiatives with a high degree of complexity and technological innovation, as well as those that contribute to digitalization aligned with sustainability criteria.

Beneficiaries of the Digitaliza CV grants

The beneficiaries of these grants may be small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that meet the following requirements:

  • To have headquarters and production facility in the Valencian Community at the time of the request.

  • Count on at least two people on staff, whether they are employed workers or cooperatives.

  • Develop activities within the framework of any of the following CNAE (2009):


    • Sections C, D, E and F (Divisions 10 to 43), except class 41.10 (Real Estate Development).

    • Section H (Divisions 49-52).

    • Section M (Division 72).

Companies whose main activity is financial, real estate or commercial are excluded.

Type of eligible projects

The projects should consist of the implementation and implementation of innovative digitalization solutions, linked to one or more of the following actions:

  • Industry 4.0 and process digitalization
  • Value chain management and integration systems
  • Security, Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence

The minimum eligible budget per project must be equal to or greater than 20,000 euros. Projects with a lower budget will not be admitted.

Type of help and intensity

The aid is granted in the form of non-refundable grant, calculated as a percentage of the eligible costs of the project:

  • Small Business: Until the 45%.

  • Medium-sized company: Until the 35%.

The maximum amount of grant per project is 175,000 euros.

These grants are subject to De minimis regime.

In addition, it is contemplated the possibility of requesting a Advance payment of up to 75% of the aid granted, subject to the presentation of guarantees equivalent to 25% of the amount anticipated.

Eligible costs

The following costs directly linked to the project are considered eligible:

Intangible assets

  • Software licenses, excluding general-purpose software.

  • Development of customized applications, including installation and specific technical advice.

  • Costs for using XaaS solutions and applications, with the same exclusions as software licenses.

  • Cloud servers and access to remote computing, as long as they are fully dedicated to the project.

Tangible assets

  • Hardware, sensors, automation and communication equipment.

  • Acquisition or adaptation of capital goods.

External Services

  • Technical advisory, consulting and equivalent services.

  • Costs of preparing the report for the review of the supporting account for the grant.

Subsidized investments must remain unchanged during five years after the payment of the aid.

Digitaliza CV Evaluation Criteria

For a project to be approved, it must achieve a minimum score of 40 points. The evaluation will be made on a total of 100 points, according to the following criteria:

a) Project quality (max. 50 points)

  • Degree of technological innovation and complexity: up to 40 points.

  • Degree of definition and clarity of the project, diagnosis and implementation strategy: up to 10 points.

b) Technical feasibility (max. 20 points)

  • Capacity and experience of the work team: up to 10 points.

  • Adequacy and integration of the resources involved: up to 10 points.

c) Results and expected impact (max. 20 points)

  • Economic impact, job creation and competitiveness: up to 10 points.

  • Complementarity with previous R+D+i initiatives: up to 5 points.

  • Alignment with environmental policies and reduction of environmental impact: up to 5 points.

d) Characteristics of the applicant company (max. 10 points)

  • Existence of a voluntarily registered Equality Plan: up to 3 points.

  • Alignment with the lines of the European Green Deal: up to 4 points.

  • Percentage of people with functional diversity above the legal minimum: up to 3 points.

Deadline for submitting applications

The deadline for submitting applications will begin on January 15, 2026 and it will end on March 3, 2026.

The projects must be developed in the period between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2026.
