Below, we tell you all the details about the grants from the Innovation and Sustainability Plans for the Manufacturing Industry that can be requested as of May 10, 2022.
The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has launched the aid program for Innovation and Sustainability Plans for the Manufacturing Industry 2022. The main objective is to support investments in the sector to move towards the manufacture of technologically advanced products and services.
The program has an overall budget of 150 million euros, of which 91 million will be in the form of refundable loan and the remaining 59 million will be in the form of subvention. The total funding to be granted will be a maximum of 80% of the fundable budget. The loans are refundable at the 0% interest rate and with a total repayment period of 10 years with a grace period of 3 years.
The call covers aspects such as:
- Circular economy and eco-innovation applied to the improvement of value chains
- Decarbonization, energy efficiency, new sources of renewable energy and reduction of polluting emissions
- Advanced materials and products- Innovation in quality and safety processes.
The deadline for submitting applications starts on May 10, 2022 and ends the May 31, 2022.
Who can benefit?
Companies that are not part of the public sector, that have been carrying out an industrial activity for a period of at least three years counted until the end of the application deadline, and that meet all the conditions established in article 4 of Order ICT/309/2022, of March 31, amending Order ICT/789/2021, of July 16.
