The 2024 call for the Innovation Check, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, and framed in the Intelligent and Sustainable Specialization Strategy (S3) of the Community of Madrid and the ERDF Operational Program 2021-2027 of the Community of Madrid, has a total budget of 1M €.

Purpose of the call

‍Encourage the implementation of innovation and the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge by small and medium-sized companies, as an added value and as an instrument for increasing their productivity.

Beneficiaries of the innovation check

‍ Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Madrid. The call is especially aimed at those SMEs belonging to traditional sectors, which do not produce technology and whose business model is not based on the development and intensive use of technology.

Type of help

Non-refundable grant of up to 80% of total eligible expenses or up to 60,000€.

Main requirements

• Companies must be validly constituted at the time of submitting the application for aid, carry out an economic activity aimed at the market in the territorial area of the Community of Madrid and have a work center there, from which to carry out the activities subject to the grant.
• Have sufficient administrative, financial and operational capacity for the execution of the aid granted to them.

Required Documentation

• General descriptive report of the project, including an executive summary of the project.
• Updated Certification of the Commercial Registry
• Documentation supporting the complete Corporate Tax return for the last closed financial year.
• Balance sheet and income statement for the last closed financial year and financial audit report, if applicable, in the case of SMEs.
• Minimum three bids or pro forma invoices from different suppliers, of all the expenses necessary for the execution of the project
