Among the 10 best startups in Europe is Waynabox, Spanish tourism company awarded by the European Commission at the Startup Europe Awards, prizes whose main purpose is to recognize and reward 10 best entrepreneurial companies in the European Union (EU).Waynabox offers original and, most importantly, surprising trips for its customers, since it allows them to travel in a totally different way than they did before. Waynabox allows you to enjoy a weekend trip to a surprise city for 150 euros. The end user discovers their destination just two days before the trip, which makes the adventure more unexpected and exciting. Waynabox was founded in 2014, breaking into the tourism market as the first company in the world to offer surprise travel packages with no definite destination, betting on a new fun and original way of traveling.The Spanish tourism company has already reached 35,000 travelers, reaching 5 million in turnover and managing to expand to other markets outside of Spain, such as France and Portugal. Through this award, Waynabox will achieve greater international visibility, access to various programs financed by European funds, as well as an economic endowment of 10,000 euros for the acceleration of the project.
