Active Funding: New aid from the Next Generation Funds with a budget of 140M€

The Ministry of Industry launches the Activa Financing grant line to support the digital transformation of the industry.

On April 13, 2022, the Official State Gazette published a new call for the granting of Active Funding grants, to provide financial support to research, development and innovation projects in the field of Connected Industry.

The main objective of Activate Funding is to encourage the incorporation of knowledge, technologies and innovations aimed at the digitalization of processes and the creation of technologically advanced products and services with greater added value in industrial companies. The aid line is equipped with 140 million euros, of which 100 million are loans and the remaining 40 will be in the form of grants.

Who are the beneficiaries of the aid?

The beneficiaries of Activa Financing are companies that carry out a productive industrial activity for a period of at least 3 years. Industrial research, experimental development and innovation projects will be supported in terms of organization and processes.

What are the characteristics of the Activa Financing loan?

Repayable loans with an interest rate of 0% and with a total repayment period of 5 years with a grace period of 2 years for the ACTIVA-SME line and 10 years with a 3-year grace period for the ACTIV-Large Implementations line.

What is the application deadline?

The deadline for submitting Activa Financing will begin on April 25, 2022 and will end on May 17, 2022.
