Wembi, based in Barcelona since 2023, has developed a revolutionary solution to optimize the management of laundry in the home.
Its flagship product, a foldable and magnetic basket, adheres directly to the washing machine and saves storage space, simplifying the washing routine and improving user comfort.
Made in Catalonia with 100% recyclable materials, Wembi is committed to solutions that combine sustainability and efficiency, aspects that homes increasingly value, especially in urban areas where space is limited.
The project was born from the experience of Nancy Adam, CEO and co-founder of Wembi, who was looking for an alternative to practically manage laundry in her home without compromising space. Nancy, with more than 15 years of experience in marketing and sales, saw how the lack of compact storage solutions represented a common problem in modern homes. After researching the market and validating the need for a product with these characteristics, Nancy created Wembi, an efficient and accessible solution to simplify the management of clothing in the home.
The Wembi basket stands out for its intelligent and practical design, with features that have revolutionized the laundry process. Its advantages include:
- Space saving: Wembi eliminates the storage problem of conventional baskets thanks to its foldable design and magnetic system, which allows it to be attached directly to the washing machine when it is not being used.
- Accessibility and ergonomics: The basket unfolds and folds with one hand, facilitating the process of loading and unloading clothes and reducing effort for the user. Its location next to the washing machine optimizes the workflow, preventing clothes from falling to the floor and reducing the time it takes to collect the laundry.
- Universal compatibility: Its design adapts to front-loading washing machines, which ensures its versatility in European homes and makes it an accessible solution for different types of customers.
- Commitment to sustainability: By being manufactured with recyclable materials, Wembi responds to the growing demand for environmentally friendly products. Its environmental commitment makes Wembi an attractive option for consumers concerned about environmental impact.
Wembi is committed to a mixed marketing strategy, which includes a direct approach to final consumer (B2C) and another one for him retail channel (B2B), where it seeks to establish strategic alliances with stores specializing in household products, supermarkets and manufacturers of washing machines. On the B2C channel, Wembi will make its product available to the public through its official website and on sales platforms such as Amazon, making it easier for European consumers looking for innovative and sustainable products.
The company has its first utility model (first prototype) and has already carried out a test on its own website that has yielded very positive data and validated market interest. The company wants to start manufacturing new product units with the objective of starting sales and accelerating its operations.
