Eureka has initiated two calls for projects to help mitigate the effects of Covid-19

Proposals must be submitted by May 15

Eureka has launched two calls for grants for Covid-19 projects. These calls are aimed at supporting the needs that have arisen in the face of the current situation of the Coronavirus pandemic. The first call supports the needs of Covid-19 and the second one responds to situations of contagion and its high impact on society.These calls for grants are primarily designed for companies, but other entities can also be submitted and will be evaluated by the jury. CDTI supports companies. However, universities, technology centers and others must participate as subcontractors or assume the self-financing of the participation, this is an eligible cost for companies.Eureka Call - Covid-19 CallThe call will only accept proposals with a duration of 12 months, the start date must be at most the beginning of August, and it will also be assessed that it may be on the market in the short term (before or in 6 months). The participating countries and with which the multilateral or bilateral project can be undertaken are: Spain, Denmark, Austria, the Netherlands, Canada, Turkey and France. Before May 15, the date that the deadline ends, Spanish partners must have the proposal registered with CDTI. This is divided into 2 levels: -National level: Spanish companies must register an application for an Individual R&D Project or an Innovation Hotline. -International Level: International companies must register an application for an EUREKA international technological cooperation project, in which they must fill out a web form and attach a series of documents. Therefore, proposals can be submitted before May 15, when the deadline ends through the Eureka portal. A continuous evaluation will be carried out for all proposals, so it is recommended to send the proposal as soon as possible.
