Big Ban Angels, BioHub Valencia and Capital Cell are the companies that will invest in the best projects with the aim of helping to mitigate the effects of Covid-19. So much so that expert organizations in biotechnology, the health sector and investment have launched a proposal, a national challenge to select the best projects of consolidated companies and startups with a value proposition that aims to combat the pandemic. As we have mentioned before, all projects must be focused from a health point of view, as well as projects that help manage the disease, improve diagnosis and treatment, help for protection, among others. The selection process consists of different phases: initially, the projects will undergo an evaluation carried out by experts from the global BioExpert Network, which is made up of investors, doctors and experts from all over the world. In this way, the project will have evaluations from different profiles. In the background, the committee formed by Pedro de Ávala, member of the Board of Directors of Big Ban angels, Daniel Oliver, founder and director of Capital Cell and Sabrina Femenia, director of Biohub VLC, will be responsible for deciding the winning projects. The projects selected will be between 3 and 5 and the winners will receive investment worth 2 million euros.
