The National Grants Database (BDNS) has released the official letter of the call for Neotec 2020. It includes the amount, 25 million euros in grants which will be aimed at technology-based companies (EBTS). These are companies that aim to focus on the exploitation of services or products that request the use of technologies based on research. However, companies that have a service to third parties and do not have their own technology are not suitable for this call.What does Neotec 2020 finance?It is also essential to be aware of the purpose of the aid, Neotec drives innovation and technology. The deadline for submitting applications will be June 30, at 12:00 noon CET.What type of funding is it?Neotec finances up to 70% of the budget of each of the business projects that qualify for the program, as long as they are projects of at least 175,000 euros. Each grant may be up to 250,000 euros per beneficiary. Who can benefit from the call? Beneficiaries must meet a number of requirements: -Established at most in the three years prior to the closing date of the deadline for submitting applications-Not being quoted. -Have a minimum share capital of 20,000 euros and registered in the register before submitting the application-Not having arisen from a corporate transaction involving structural modifications of the companies-Not having distributed profitsHow is Neotec's disbursement?The payment of the aid is disbursed in two tranches. The first tranche is made by bank transfer 15 days after signing the contract for 40, 50 or 60% (depending on the result of the evaluation) of the total amount of the approved aid. The second tranche, for the remaining amount, is carried out once the final amount of the project's expenses and investments has been credited to the CDTI (therefore, it is not received until the project is finished).Is Neotec incompatible with other public aid?Neotec grants are fully compatible with aid from other administrations, public or private entities, both national and international. What expenses can be financed?-Rentals, supplies, fees and licenses, application fees, etc-Personnel Expenses-Materials-Investments in equipment-External collaborations/consulting.
