Who can benefit?

Companies, state-level technology centers, business associations and science and technology parks that also meet two requirements. The first of these is that the location of the work center must be within Spanish territory and the second that the project is carried out for research or experimental development.Torres Quevedo a non-refundable grant in which up to 3 applications per entity can be submitted at any time within the indicated deadline, provided that in each of the requests the researcher to be hired is different and that each request corresponds to a different project or action.

?What is the amount of Torres Quevedo?

The amount of aid will be determined based on the cost of contracting, the type of project and the type of entity. The maximum annual bankable contracting cost may not exceed 55,000 euros.In terms of funding intensity, the intensities assigned to each proposed request will be the maximum that corresponds, depending on the type of project and entity, and range from 70% for industrial research and viability projects, to 45% for experimental development projects.

What conditions and requirements does this aid have?

This grant has several conditions. The aid must be applied to carry out additional R&D activities compared to those already carried out by the company, and must justify in its request the need and the incentive effect of the aid. In addition, doctors who are hired under these grants must participate in industrial research, experimental development or previous feasibility studies, either generally, for start-up or to reinforce a process that has already begun. There are 4 requirements that researchers must meet:

  • Be in possession of the doctorate degree on the date of submission of the application.
  • Not having been previously employed with the entity with which you are applying for assistance.
  • Not to have a share in the capital of the entity that requests the aid or of another shareholder or socially related to it that implies a capacity for effective control, direct or indirect, of the entity at the time of the request.
  • Not be included as a candidate in the application of more than one entity.

The grant has a cost, co-financing the salary and the Social Security business share of the researchers hired during each of the annuities, considered independently. In addition, only those contracting costs that result from annual gross remuneration equal to or greater than 20,000 euros will be bankable.
