The Innovation Hotline of CDTI It is a financial instrument that was created with the objective of being able to show support for projects of an applied nature close to the market, which have a medium or low technological risk and short periods of investment recovery.

The purpose of the Innovation Hotline project is to improve the company's competitiveness in the sector, introducing emerging technologies. In addition, the beneficiaries of this action are companies, and the project is aimed at all those that are individuals and are validly constituted, with a domicile and an innovation project in Spain.

Intensity of aid: CDTI Innovation Hotline

On the other hand, your minimum eligible budget is 175,000 euros, and the intensity you have will be up to 75% of the bankable budget, although you can get 85% if you are co-financed with ERDF, the European Regional Development Fund. In addition, the technological innovation projects it subsidizes contain some of the following objectives, which seek to obtain fixed assets to achieve technological progress for the company:

• Incorporate and adapt new technologies in the company, carry out adaptation processes and improve technologies in new markets.
• Apply industrial design and product engineering, with the process to improve.
• Apply a new production method, supply or introduce an improvement, including relevant changes in techniques, equipment or computer programs.

Eligible expenses for the CDTI Innovation Hotline

The expenses that this project subsidizes are materials and consumables, the project audit report, general expenses, personnel costs and the contracting of external services or outsourcing. Finally, the type of aid is a partially repayable loan, with a fixed interest rate that is divided into two options depending on the repayment period: three or five years. As for the duration, it is a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 18, and the application period is open permanently. However, in projects co-financed with FEDER, the completion cannot be later than September 30, 2022.

• It is a call for grants open all year round
• Fund projects that last 6 to 18 months
• You have a one-year grace period since the end of the project
• The company must provide 15% of the project budget with its own resources or external funding
• The TNR, Non-Refundable Trunk of this aid is subject to the availability of funds and can range from 2% to 5%.
